ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
JEEP held its Annual General Meeting on Friday, 14th of November, which was honored and attended by over 100 of its members.
A report about the different projects held in 2024 and being held in 2025 was presented to its members. This report showcased the progress of the organization in the execution of its mission and vision, and by how much the 1-5 point program for the conservation of the wood energy had been spread across Uganda.
2024 projects presented to the JEEP members include CAISL(Climate action for improved and sustainable livelihood), RED(Response to increased Environmental Degradation and promotion of Alternative sources in Refugee Hosting Districts), SDCA and Biogas Promotion Partnership
And the 2025 projects presented include DREEM Hub project, SDCA and IFPA-cd
Right after the morning session which included the presentation of projects' Report, a center tour was carried out for the 100 JEEP members showcasing and explaining both new and old establishments. Some of the new establishments showcased include the solar drier unit, save 80 assembly unit, Cold storage unit and the Solar irrigation Unit. These new establishment showcased the growth of the organization's center and its level of sustainability
A session welcoming different inputs, advice and expectations from the members was in place after lunch. Different members adviced the JEEP on different actions that should be put in place for example a member adviced the team about the importance of self sustainability and proposed the scaling of the tree nursery and gardening unit to provide different tree and fruit seedlings on sale to the public
