Students from Butende Technical Institute trained in briquette making.
On 5th November JEEP hosted a group of 15 students from Butende Technical Institute for briquette training. The group comprised of students doing woodwork and metal fabrication and two teachers. The selection was good for the training.
The training started with tour around the centre. The purpose of the tour is to have them get insight of what JEEP does. They were interested in almost all the technologies at the centre. They raised a lot of questions concerning different technologies. They had theory session about materials for briquette making and finally practical work on briquette.
The Students were advised to implement what they had learnt and for institute to include some of these technology in their training course.
