This October, JEEP was contracted by Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) Uganda to train its staff and 24 Community Resource Persons (CRPs) in the construction and maintenance of domestic energy saving stoves.

Soap and BriquettesThis September, JEEP staff were privileged to participate in a number of amazing activities that advanced prosperity, health and livelihood of people in Uganda, especially Adjumani and Zombo district under the JEEP Green Ambassadors Club and Eco-pesa projects.

As part of a consultancy with the Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) staff and in line with other projects, JEEP trained local community persons in Luwero in the construction of energy saving stoves.

Sustainable Mobility Options

JEEP supports sustainable mobility options and recognizes its importance to provide a more sustainable future. To increase bicycle and walking activities, infrastructure has to be optimised. This is why we (Uganda Coalition for Sustainable Development (UCSD), Training, Education & Empowerment for Neighborhood Sustainability (TEENS), Joint Energy and Environment Projects (JEEP), the JEEP Green Ambassadors Club, and International Network for Sustainable Energy (INFORSE) East Africa) call for Action. This Month at JEEP – 07.2022

JEEP strives to stop environmental destruction and promote efficient management of natural resources. The newsletter gives a monthly overview of our activities towards this mission. This July was another month fully packed of field work. Our Energy Officer went to Zombo once more to check up on the energy hubs (small shops designed to sell energy-related products, with a focus on renewable energy, and efficient use of energy.
