MAKERERE UNIVERSITY NATURAL RESOURCES STUDENTS TRAINING AT JEEP
Joint Energy and Environment Projects (JEEP) on Saturday 03rd/11/2012 received a group of thirty (30) students from Makerere University Natural Resources Students led by their lecturer Dr. Mugagga Frank with his assistants Mr Asiimwe Georg and Mr Lubega Isac for a training on best environmental practices. This was done under the campaign called Environmental justice as a systemic issue with support from Canada.

JEEP developed a special environmental module system which addresses the of both urban and rural youths, men, women and farmers in their own settings. This ensure that training includes the use of local materials and is performed in the community’s own language. JEEP makes sure that these trainings also respect the socio- cultural norms of the different communities.
