JEEP at COP30(Conference of the Parties)

Under INFORSE(International Network for Sustainable Energy) JEEP was represented at the 30th Meeting of the Conference of the parties (COP30).

COP30 is the United Nations Climate Change Conference taking place in Belem, Brazil from 10 to 21 November 2025.

UN Climate Change Conference or COPs takes place energy year, and are the world's only multilateral decision-making forum on climate change that brings together almost every country on Earth. The COP is where the worl comes together to agree on the actions to address the climate crisis, such as limiting the global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees celcius, helping vulnerable communities adapt to the effects of climate change, and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050

INFORSE is worldwide network of 145 non-governmental organizations in 60 countries.

During the conference, different attendees got to learn about the current ground breaking projects JEEP is currently running namely the DREEMHUb project and SDCA and how the projects are preserving the climate in their respective capacity

Under The DREEM hub Project, JEEP is leveraging solar energy in agriculture by promoting solar dryers, solar powered irrigation systems and solar powered cold storage Units.

Under SDCA, JEEP is training communities in practical knowledge and skills in environmental conservation and renewable technologies. The project is focusing on brodening JEEP's reach by introducing new training units, refining existing workshop facilities, and integrating new participant categories such as young entrepreneurs, vocational students, and community-based organization
