Cutting down trees and the use of fossil fuels as a source of heat energy is among the main causes of global warming. This is due to the great reduction in carbon dioxide consumption by trees due to deforestation leads to the increment in green house gasses quantities in the atmosphere

The Transition to Sustainable Energy solution Expo was organized to showcase different technologies that can replace the consumption of trees as fuel consumption

Examples of technologies showcased were:
• Electric pressure cookers. These utilize electricity to prepare food, a technology that replaces the charcoal stoves and the open three stoves that consume a large amount of wood and trees during food preparation.
