Lamb International Christian School Center Tour
On 20th June, Joint Energy and Environment Projects warmly welcomed students from Lambs International Christian School for an exciting and educational center tour. The visit offered the young learners a hands-on experience with JEEP's innovative and eco friendly technologies designed to promote environmental sustainability and community resilience.(JEEP)
During the tour, the students explored the iconic Bottle House, a structure built entirely from recycled plastic bottles sparking curiosity about sustainable construction. They also rolled up their sleeves at the nursery bed section, learning how to set up and care for seedlings, a critical step in reforestation and home gardening.
The group was introduced to the working of a solar dryer, discovering how sunlight can be harnessed to preserve food efficiency. They witnessed the briquette-making process, where organic waste is transformed into clean, affordable fuel, and observed various irrigation systems in action, vital for smart water use in farming.
In the energy-saving technology section, students explored a range of improved cookstoves developed by JEEP. They also toured the Save 80 stoves assembly unit, gaining insight into the local production of this efficient, eco-friendly stove
The visit wrapped up with a look at JEEP's in-house manufactured products, including bar soap, liquid soap, and the fireless basket, an innovative cooking accessory that conserves heat and energy.
This engaging tour not only broadened the students' understanding of environmental conservation but also inspired them to think creatively about sustainable solutions for everyday living. JEEP remains committed to educating and empowering the next generation of environmental stewards
