BUCADEF Partnership Meeting

On February 03, 2025, the organization hosted representatives from the Buganda Cultural and Development Foundation (BUCADEF) for a partnership meeting.

BUCADEF is a non-governmental organization established by the Buganda Kingdom in 1994, focuses on community development, economic empowerment, and social welfare. Through initiatives in sustainable agriculture, enterprise development, health, education, and infrastructure, BUCADEF aims to improve the living standards of rural and urban communities in central region.

During the visit, BUCADEF representatives toured our facilities to gain insight into our ongoing projects and asses potential areas for collaboration. The visit included:

• The Power House, where our innovative solutions for sustainable energy are created
• The Save 80 Cooking Stoves Assembly Area, where the energy-efficient stoves are assembled from
• The Bottle House, an eco-friendly construction project using recycled plastic bottles
• The Nursery Bed, supporting reforestation efforts and environmental conservation
• Cooks food faster and more efficiently, saving time and resource for households

The purpose of the visit was to explore synergies between our initiatives and BUCADEF's development programs, with the goal of forging a partnership that would enhance community impact. Discussions focused on how a collaboration could strenghtn efforts in sustainability, environmental conservation, and community-driven innovation

This engagement marks the beginnign of what could be a valuable collaboration, leveraging shared goals to create lasting positive change in communities. Further discussions will determine the next steps in formalizing a potential partnership
