On January 28, 2025, the organization reached a significant milestone with the official commencement of Save 80 Cooking Stoves Assembly at our facility. This initiative marks a major forward in promoting sustainable cooking solutions, reducing firewood consumption, and combating environmental degradation

The assembly process is being led by Mr. Jordan Bongomin, an experienced instructor with extensive knowledge in energy-efficient stove production and sustainable technology. Under his guidance, the team has been trained in the precise techniques required to ensure that each stove meets high-quality standards for durability, efficiency, long-term performance

Why the Save 80 Cooking Stove?

The Save 80 Cooking Stove is a highly efficient cooking solution designed to significantly reduce the amount of firewood required for cooking:

• Uses up to 80% less firewood helping to conserve.
• One is able to save up to 80% income of what he/she usually spends on the ordinary sources of fuel. For example, basing on the current price of a sack of charcoal which is shs100,000 of Ugandan currency, one is able to save shs80,000 of Ugandan currency if they purchased the save 80 stove
• With only pruned brunches, picked sticks along the way, one is able to prepare a full family meal due to the minimum consumption fuel and production of adequate heat with the little wood
